CEAT traces its brand to 1924 in Italy; the Indian company was founded in 1958 in Mumbai and is now the flagship of the RPG Group. Its car range is built around the long-life Milaze tyres, SecuraDrive and SportDrive for sedans and premium cars, and CrossDrive for SUVs, plus EnergyDrive for electric cars. CEAT reports more than 400 exclusive outlets and 4,500 dealers, and CEAT Limited is listed on the NSE and BSE.

Warranty
For passenger car and SUV radials, CEAT gives "5 years warranty from the date of manufacturing or date of warranty registration or till the tyre tread is wornup to Tread Wear Indicators (TWI) whichever is earlier".
Keep the invoice and the warranty card, and read the terms printed on the card itself: they are what a claim is judged against.
